Starbotton to Kettlewell and back via the river. Approx 2 miles each way takes about one hour each way.
From the Croft House you walk to the bottom of garden and walk past next door (Eaglescliffe). There you will see a sign pointing up the field marked to Kettlewell. After two fields you walk along a ridge all the way to Kettlewell. Plenty of pubs available in the village where you can recharge for the walk back to Starbotton.
Return journey, over the main road bridge in Kettlewell follow the signs for the Dales Way - beautiful riverside walk to the narrow bridge at Starbotton
